About Spirit AeroSystems
Spirit AeroSystems comprises the history of many aircraft and aerospace companies over the years, including industry leaders such as Stearman, Boeing, Rockwell and British Aerospace Corporation. The company completed its Initial Public Offering in late 2006 and is currently traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Today Spirit AeroSystems manufacture parts of every Boeing commercial airplane currently in production, which includes the 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 programs. In 2008, Spirit was selected to design and produce the composite center fuselage and major wing structures for the Airbus A350 XWB. The company entered the business jet market, winning work packages for the wings on the Gulfstream G650 and G280. Additionally, Spirit was selected to design and manufacture the pylon for the Mitsubishi MRJ and Bombardier CSeries. Spirit designs and builds structures for military programs, including the CH-53K helicopter, the P-8A and P-8I programs, the KC-46 Tanker and the E3 AWACS Radome. In Europe, we design and produce wing components for the A318, 319, 320, 321, 330, 340 and 380.
